It's highly recommended you just get the basics as many teachers will give specifics in their syllabus the first week of class, but below are a couple of helpful items that will always be useful.

This could be a "Trapper Keeper," a simple three-ring binder with folders, or a multi-subject binder, but please wait for communication from teachers before you purchase anything!
