Welcome to 6th Grade

I am Mr. Lothrop

Welcome to an exciting year of science exploration. I will be teaching science.  I’ve been teaching science for 12 years and still lovin’ every minute of it.  While school does take up a huge chunk of my life, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons.  We love to travel (we’ve visited 35 states thus far), cook, and watch sports (GO BLUE!!!). 



When you leave science this year, I hope it is with more wonderings than you started with, as I believe, as Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Men love to wonder, and that is the seed of science."
