Matt Wandrie, Superintendent of Schools

Matt Wandrie came to Lapeer in the summer of 2011 from the Dearborn Public Schools, where he served as the director of human resources. His career in education also includes work as a high school teacher, athletic coach, assistant principal, athletic director and principal. Wandrie and his wife Christie live in Oxford with their three school-aged children: Thomas, Jack, and Anna.

Mark Rajter, Assistant Superintendent of Schools

Mark came to Lapeer in September 2014. The White Lake resident has spent most of his career in business and administration. He directly oversees the day-to-day operation of district business, finance, facilities and transportation.

Kim Seifferly, Executive Director of Human Resources


Kim was appointed to her current position in the summer of 2012. She was the District’s Curriculum Director for five years prior to replacing longtime Human Resources Director Craig Gerard. She lives in Metamora with her husband JK and two children, Jackson and Addison.

Taught secondary business education at middle school and high school level.
Former coach, athletic director, building administrator.

Nine years in the department of curriculum of instruction with the last five years spent as the executive director of the department.

Michelle Bradford, Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction

Michelle has been a part of the LCS community for many years. Before being appointed Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, she served as head principal at Elva Lynch Elementary. She Lives in Lapeer with husband Scott and has three children, Josh, Kade and Beau.

Taught for eight years (4th and 6th grade at Mayfield and Attica Elementary) prior to being a principal in the district.

Staying active and reading with our youngest, ice skating and traveling with family.

Jennifer Tindall, Director of Special Education


  Jennifer was appointed to her current position in the fall of 2013 after serving 13 years in the Port Huron School District.  While with Port Huron she taught elementary special education, then she took on the role of Special Education Supervisor for Elementary Education and eventually took on the secondary special education duties.  Her last three years in the district she was the Director of Exceptional Children, Pupil Accounting, Early Childhood and Student Records.   Currently, Jennifer lives in Metamora with her husband David and their two dogs.

Central Michigan University, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with K-12 Special Education and a minor in Language Arts.

Jared Field, Director of Communications

Jared came to Lapeer in the summer of 2011 after spending several years working in print journalism, new media and public relations. He grew up in Flint and remains in the city with his wife, Angie, and their dog, Scout.
